The icon of international soccer supremacy arrived from New Zealand for a two-day stop in Canada, before travelling to Miami on Friday. It will then go to Houston on Saturday before winging its way to World Cup host South Africa for the June 11-July 11 quadrennial championship.

In February and March, the trophy toured Central America and Mexico, part of its 83-nation, 138,902-kilometer (86,328-mile) jaunt across the planet.
