President of the Jamaican Football Federation from 1985-1992, Anthony James was the second-longest serving head since that organization's affiliation with CONCACAF in 1965. He served as a member of the Executive Committees of CONCACAF and the Caribbean Football Union, and as a match commissioner for FIFA and CONCACAF. On the field, Mr. James was the leading scorer for his high school team, Jamaica College, and in the 1968 Manning Cup. Mr. James additionally served as President of Jamaica's oldest amateur club, Los Perfectos F.C., for more than 35 years.
