With over 40 years of expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Rudy Gittens was a driving force in the establishment and continued success of the Canadian Soccer Association Medical Committee for two decades. In 1994, he was appointed Medical Director for the CONCACAF Medical Committee. That same year, he was named to the FIFA Sports Medical Committee, which he has served with distinction in areas including research and drug doping.
