A long and distinguished career took Joaquin Soria Terrazas from the Presidency of the amateur sector of the Mexican Football Federation to the Presidency of CONCACAF and beyond to many FIFA appointments. At the world level, he was a member of the FIFA Organizing Committee of the World Cup from 1970 to 1990, of the Olympics from 1964 to 1990 and of the FIFA Youth and Junior world championships. He was also Vice-President of Local Organizing Committee for the FIFA World Cups in Mexico of 1970 and 1986, of the 1968 Olympic Games and the 1983 Youth World Cup.
