Andres Kamperveen rose from a spot as a player on the national side to become Minister of Sport in Suriname. But those milestones tell only part of his story of involvement and success, which includes roles as Technical Director of the national team, a Member of the CONCACAF Executive Committee, the first President of the Caribbean Football Union and Vice-President of FIFA.
