NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Thailand - Panama was outshot 61-34 and was beaten 16-0 by Brazil on Monday to become the last CONCACAF team eliminated from the Futsal World Cup.

Fernandinho scored 3:16 after the opening whistle and Je and Ari had three each to pace the four-time and defending champion into the quarterfinals.

Brazil, which led 8-0 at halftime, had more shots on goal than Panama attempted overall, and the 16 goals was more than Panama had allowed in its three group matches combined.

Panama joins Mexico, Costa Rica and Guatemala, which all were eliminated in the first round.

"I can't say we are happy because of the way we lost, but of course we are leaving Thailand very satisfied," Panama coach Augusting Campuzando said. "We arrived here with the aim of competing, and we proved we could do that. These players lived a dream by playing the defending champions and this will be an invaluable experience for them."
