This past Friday, August 26, in Panama City, Panama, CONCACAF General Secretary and FIFA Executive Committee Member Chuck Blazer participated in a meeting of Central American national association presidents called by Central American Football Union (UNCAF) President Rafael Tinoco in conjunction with Alfredo Hawit, CONCACAF Vice President - Central America.
Blazer gave the presidents an overview of the confederation's activities and answered questions from the group. Given recent events, the presidents expressed a desire for certain changes for which Blazer expressed his support.
"It was a very positive session" said Blazer. "It is very helpful to speak directly with our association presidents and get their feedback. Their suggestions were well thought out and I fully support them. Together I am confident we will make Central American football even stronger".
