Pursuant to the CONCACAF Statutes, as a result of the suspension of Jack Warner from all football activities by the FIFA Ethics Committee, the senior most Vice President of CONCACAF, Lisle Austin, will serve as Acting President in Warner's absence. Austin, who is also the Chairman of the CONCACAF Referee Committee, will return to Dallas from Zurich for the opening match of the 2011 Gold Cup on June 5th at Cowboys Stadium.
The Confederation's administration remains committed to carrying out its normal course of activities, including the hosting of its eleventh Gold Cup, which is to be played in 13 venues across the United States from June 5th to 25th.
