GUATEMALA CITY -- A three-day course for league match commissioners concluded yesterday at the offices of the Guatemalan Football Federation in Guatemala City.
The purpose of the gathering was to support the development of match commissioners In Guatemala.
Under the direction of Hector Canchola, match commissioner coordinator for the Mexican Football Federation, the participants were provided with instruction critical to their specific match-related functions. Victor Estrada, the Union of Central American Football's director of development and competitions, assisted Canchola throughout the program.
"Here," commented Canchola, "the most important thing is to leave the message that their work should be preventive."
