Elsewhere, Kemmar Daley scored the game-winner for Jamaica (1-0-0, 3 Points) as they defeated Colombia (0-1-0, 0 Points) 1:0 at the Zico Football Center in Group C play, while Jerome Mechack had the only goal for Haiti (0-0-1, 1 Point) in the 1:1 tie against Argentina (0-0-1, 1 Point).
The men's tournament continues on Wednesday (18 July) as Brazil greets Costa Rica at the João Havelange Stadium and then Mexico takes on Venezuela. Also on Wednesday, Honduras meets Ecuador at the Zico Football Center and then Haiti faces Colombia, while at the Miécimo da Silva Sport Complex will have Jamaica versus Argentina and then Bolivia playing against USA.
The three group winners along with the best second-place finisher will advance to the semifinals at Maracanã Stadium on 24 July. The bronze and gold medal games will take place on 27 July also at Maracanã Stadium.
