After a scoreless first half, Monica Ocampo gave the tricolor the lead in the 56th minute, but Heather O'Reilly tied it for the stars & stripes six minutes later.
This is the first time in 22 encounters that Mexico earns a draw against the USA.
The stars & stripes took the opener of the three-game series with a 5:1 win over the tricolores at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri on 13 October. Four days later, the USA won the second encounter against Mexico by a score of 4:0 at the PGE Park in Portland, Oregon.
