Mexico's Club América won the first-leg of the 2007 Copa Nissan Sudamericana Semifinal against the hosts, CD Millonarios of Colombia by a score of 3:2 at the Estadio Nemesio Camacho in Bogota on Wednesday.

Goals by Germán Villa and Salvador Cabañas in the 23rd and 36th minutes, respectively, gave Club América a 2:0 halftime lead.

After Gerardo Bedoya got Millionarios on the board in the 59th minute, Jonathan Estrada tied the match at 2:2 nine minutes later. Cabañas scored his second goal of the match and the game-winner for Club América with six minutes remaining.

Club América will host the second-leg against Millionarios scheduled for the Estadio Nemesio Diez in Toluca, Estado de México on 13 November with the winner progressing to the 2007 Copa Nissan Sudamericana Final where they will take on the victor of the Argentinian semifinal match-up between Arsenal-River Plate.
