The USA have won five tournament titles (1998, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007), while Canada is making their first appearance since 2004.
Canada open the quadrangular with a CONCACAF match-up against the USA on 16 January, while Finland take on the host. The event continues two days later (18 January) with Stars & Stripes facing Finland and then the Maple Leafs square off against China.
The tournament concludes on 20 January with Canada meeting Finland and then the USA playing against China.
Canada and USA are in preparation for next year's CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualification where two teams will progress to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
