For the first time in almost 15 years, Puerto Rico posted consecutive victories after taking a pair of friendlies against the hosts, Bermuda at the National Sports Centre in Hamilton this week.

Second half goals by Andres Cabrero and Taylor Graham led Puerto Rico to a 2:0 victory in the first encounter on 16 January. The win was the first for the Boricuas since 23 January 1994.

In the second friendly against Bermuda, Noah Delgado scored the only goal of the match early in the first half as Puerto Rico posted the 1:0 win on 18 January. The consecutive victories were the first for the Boricuas since they had won four in-a-row during the 1993 Caribbean Cup.

Under the direction of the newly appointed technical director Colin Clarke (of Northern Ireland), Puerto Rico will continue their preparation for the CONCACAF qualifiers to the 2010 FIFA World Cup ™ when they host Trinidad & Tobago in a friendly on 26 January.
