MEXICO CITY - Oro (Gold in English), the day that everything changed, is a documentary that portrays various success stories around the Mexican Olympic Football Team during the 2012 Olympic Games in London, its experiences, and the hope and support expressed by an entire country.

Narrated by the players, this film focuses on them, plus their moments of inspiration, frustration, passion and glory. Oro, the day that everything changed, is a documentary that celebrates a victory -- unprecedented in Mexican sport -- and its impact on future generations that will now face increasingly higher expectations.

To discuss the social phenomenon that represented the triumph of the national team -- both on and off the pitch -- personalities from various disciplines were invited to participate in the film, such as writer John Villoro, businessman Alejandro Marti, sports analysts as Javier Alarcon and Christian Martinoli, as well as others.

In this regard, Justino Compean, President of the Mexican Football Federation said: "Oro, the day that everything changed, is a great platform to showcase the work that goes into each game and will surely be a motivation to further promote physical activity among young people of our country."
