PANAMA CITY -- Canada posted its second consecutive 1-0 victory over host Panama to complete a sweep of their two-game friendly series on Sunday at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez.
The game's only goal came in the 60th minute through Hanson Boakai.
The Canadians had a chance to double their lead 16 minutes later, but Jordan Hamilton's penalty kick was saved by goalkeeper Jaime De Gracia.
Canada won the opener on Friday in La Chorrera thanks to an 8th minute goal by Mathieu Laurent.
Both teams are preparing for the finals of the 2013 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship, which Panama will host April 6-19. Barbados, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago have already qualified from the Caribbean, joining automatic North American entrants Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Central American qualifying for the 12-team CONCACAF event starts on December 7 in Petapa, Guatemala.
