CHICAGO – The United States women’s national team will conclude its 2013 schedule with a match against Brazil on November 10, at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.

It will be the first meeting between two of the world’s top-ranked sides since the U.S. posted a 3-0 win on April 3, 2012, in Chiba, Japan.

“Over the last several years, there’s been an intense rivalry between the two countries and a series of games that have been very tightly contested, highly competitive and of course extremely dramatic,” said U.S. head coach Tom Sermanni. “It will be a fantastic game to finish the year off.”

The match will be the Americans’ first visit to the Citrus Bowl since May 22, 1999, when they topped the Brazilians, 3-0.  In that encounter, Mia Hamm broke the international scoring record with her 108th career goal.

NOTES: The U.S. has 24 wins, three draws and two losses in 29 all-time games against Brazil.
