    Fulham: Ruiz injury prognosis positive

    LONDON – English Premier League side Fulham announced Tuesday that an injury to Costa Rican international Bryan Ruiz may not be as serious as initially thought.

     

    The 28-year-old attacking had an MRI on Monday and the results confirm an isolated ligament strain to the left ankle with no obvious fracture.

     

    Since there is still swelling, the club did not offer a time frame for the length of recovery, since there is still swelling.

     

    The Costa Rican team captain suffered the injury near the end of Saturday’s league encounter against West Bromwich.
