22.4.09 - PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – Defending champion and host Mexico was drawn into the same group with returning finalist El Salvador and Canada on Wednesday, establishing Group A for the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship.

20.6.09 - PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – Costa Rica and El Salvador both advanced to their first Beach Soccer World Cup, eliminating favorites Mexico and the United States in the semifinals of the CONCACAF championship on Saturday.
