NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- El Salvador under-23 national coach Mauricio Alfaro fears that "Los Cucatlecos" will lose forward Jonathan Aguila for the rest of the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament.

Aguila, a second-half substitute in El Salvador's Group A goalless draw with Canada on Thursday, went down with a leg injury while vying for a left-wing cross in stoppage time at LP Field.

Alfaro said that Aguila probably would be taken to the hospital for X-rays.

"I think it's the ligaments," Alfaro said through a translator. "We'll see. Most likely we'll lose that player."
