    WCQ: Costa Rica-Honduras postponed until Saturday

    The Estadio Nacional (pictured) in San Jose, Costa Rica, will remain as the venue for the World Cup qualifier between host Costa Rica and Honduras, which has postponed until October 7, 2017.

    SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – As a result of the state of emergency declared in Costa Rica due to Tropical Storm Nate, the World Cup Qualifying match scheduled for Friday between host Costa Rica and Honduras at the Estadio Nacional has been postponed.

    The encounter will now take place on Saturday, 4 p.m. local time, at the same venue.
