    Trinidad & Tobago U-20s takes first-leg over Cuba

    Trinidad & Tobago took the first-leg of the CONCACAF Under-20 Caribbean Zone Second Round Series 1 Qualification on Friday with a 3:2 win over the host Cuba at the Estadio Pedro Marrero in La Habana.

    Mario Gil gave the cubanos a 1:0 lead in the opening five minutes of the match, but the soca warriors scored three consecutive goals in the second half to take a 3:1 advantage. Keon Daniel leveled the match for Trinidad & Tobago in the 59th minute, while Hayden Tinto scored in the 73rd and 87th minutes, respectively.

    Adonis Ramos scored in the 90th minute for the cubanos, but the soca warriors held on to the 3:2 victory.

    The second-leg of the Caribbean Football Union Series 1 will take place in Trinidad & Tobago on 10 December, with the Series' Winner progressing into Group A of the 2005 CONCACAF U-20 Final Round Qualification along with Costa Rica, Panama and the host USA from 12-16 January.
