    Trinidad, Caymans advance In Under-20 women

    PARAMARIBO, Suriname - Brianna Ryce and Janelle McGee scored a pair of goals apiece to lead Trinidad to a 8-0 victory over Suriname on Saturday, sending it and the Cayman Islands to the second round of Caribbean qualifying for the CONCACAF Under-20 Women Championship.

    Trinidad finished atop three-team Group B with six points, three better than the Caymans. Suriname lost both games by a combined 12-0 and was eliminated.

    Patrice Campbell put Trinidad ahead in the fifth minute, Bryce scored her first seven minutes later and Anique Walker increased the lead to 3-0 by the 17th.

    McGee added her goals in the 64th and 86th to complete the scoring.

    Trinidad, which beat the Cayman Islands 1-0 on Thursday, and the Caymans, who defeated Suriname to open the group 4-0 on Tuesday, will move into a second group stage, set for December 5-12.
