    Santos de Guapiles earns Scotiabank Fair Play honors

    SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – After finishing as runner-up to Olimpia in the Scotiabank CONCACAF League, Santos de Guapiles took home the Scotiabank Fair Play award.

    The Costa Rican side claimed the honor thanks to having the inaugural competition’s best disciplinary record, being issued 14 cautions and no red cards in eight total games.

    After the SCL final ended 1-1 on aggregate, Olimpia captured the title 4-1 on penalty kicks.
