    President Webb praises Anguilla’s progress

    The Valley, Anguilla (October 15, 2013) – With a warm handshake and kind words, FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb praised the facilities and competition development of Anguillan football.

    President Webb toured the national facilities with Anguillan Football Association President Raymond Guishard who provided a progress report on the facilities, some of which receive development funding from the FIFA Gol Project.

    After the tour President Webb said, “the strategic plans for the infrastructure and their development are excellent, Anguilla has an excellent vision. I am really proud of Anguilla.”

    “I am pleased President Webb took the time out to visit us. We have one goal and aim and that is to develop football,” President Guishard responded.

    President Webb also met and congratulated the Anguillan Under 20 Girls National Team that advanced to the final round of Caribbean Football Union qualifiers.”
