Panama U23s to open camp Monday

PANAMA CITY, Panama – The Panama under-23 team will open a training camp on September 29 at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez, the Panamanian Football Federation announced Wednesday.

Each of the 25 invited players are domestic based, including five who were on the roster of Panama’s senior team during its run to a third-place finish at the recently completed Central American Cup -- Eric Davis, Angel Patrick, Richard Peralta, Darwin Pinzon and Alfredo Stephens.

A combined four competitors with 2014/15 CONCACAF Champions League participants Chorrillo FC and Tauro FC will also participate in the gathering.
