    Jamaica, Haiti qualify for CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts & Nevis – Final round play in Caribbean qualifying for the 2018 CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship concluded Sunday with Jamaica earning a first-place finish on the strength of a 9-0 win over St. Kitts & Nevis at Warner Park. 

    The Jamaicans had previously secured a berth in the competition, but Haiti captured the region’s other available spot by defeating the Dominican Republic, 4-1. 

    The field for 2018 CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship -- scheduled to be played in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago from January 18-28 – consists of host Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Costa Rica, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua and the United States.
