    Jamaica falls narrowly to Switzerland

LUCERNE, Switzerland – World Cup participant Switzerland got a late goal from Josip Drmic to defeat visiting Jamaica 1-0 on Saturday in an international friendly at the Swissporarena.

Jamaica goalkeeper Andre Blake -- outstanding in a 2-1 loss to Serbia on Monday -- was in excellent form, but couldn’t prevent Drmic’s 84th minute classy right-footed strike off an assist from Blerim Dzemaili.

Michael Seaton, who scored the Reggae Boyz’s lone goal against Serbia, looked to be on his way to netting in a second straight game in the 28th minute, but was upended by Johan Djourou.  The infraction resulted in a yellow card to the Swiss defender.

The Jamaicans return to action on Wednesday, when they meet Egypt in London.
