SIGUATEPEQUE, Honduras – Honduras opened an under-20 camp on Monday in Siguatepeque highlighted by the participation of Junior Lacayo and Spain-based Jonathan Rubio.
Lacayo a former Victoria striker, currently plays for Mexican power Santos, while the 17-year-old Rubio is a member of the Academia Mercet in Barcelona.
Also earning inclusion is Real España’s Bryan Rochez, who was second in the 2014 Honduran Clausura scorer’s table with 10 goals.
The gathering, which runs through May 22 under the direction of Jorge Gimenez, is part of Honduras’ preparations for Central American under-20 qualifying later this year.
