    Futsal makes a push among youth in Guadeloupe

    POINTE-A-PITRE, Guadeloupe – Futsal in Guadeloupe received a considerable boost on April 12, when the Ligue Guadeloupéenne de Football and McDonald's joined together to organize the first-ever under-13 cup competition in the French overseas department.

    Its objective was to promote this version of the sport among Guadeloupe’s youth.

    The Coupe McDonald’s Futsal U13 was played at the Palais des Sports du Gosier, attracting eight teams and 80 players.

    Following completion of the well-received tournament, a video was produced to commemorate the memorable event.
