    El Salvador to begin Gold Cup prep

    SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador - El Salvador head coach Agustin Castillo released Friday a list of 18 players, who will start training in advance of this July's CONCACAF Gold Cup.

    The group, which includes foreign-based players Mark Lester Blanco (Marathon/Honduras) and Rodolfo Zelaya (Alania/Russia), will report on Monday to the Albergue del Futbolista to start the camp.

    El Salvador qualified for its eighth Gold Cup after finishing in third at the UNCAF Copa Centroamericana earlier this year.
