    Dominican Republic to stage inaugural Women's Copa de las Antillas

    The Dominican Republic will stage the inaugural Women's Copa de las Antillas from 19-21 August in Santo Domingo.

    The four-team tournament features the Women's Under-20 teams of the host dominicanas, Haiti, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic Women's U-17 team.

    The 2005 Women's Copa de las Antillas begins at the Estadio Félix Sánchez on Friday, 19 August as the boricuas take on the dominicanas at 16:30 and then the Haitians meet Dominican Republic's U-17 squad at 19:00.

    On Saturday (20 August) at the Estadio Parque del Este, Puerto Rico plays against Haiti at 14:00 and then the two Dominican Republic Women's Youth teams (U-20 & U-17) face off at 16:00.

    The Women's Copa de las Antillas concludes on Sunday (21 August) with the boricuas against Dominican Republic's U-17 team at 14:00 at Estadio Parque del Este and then the Haitians meet the dominicanas at 16:00.
