MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – Three semifinal places have been decided and the fourth will be determined on Sunday, when Group A play in the 2013 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship (CWU17) concludes at Catherine Hall Stadium.

In the doubleheader’s opener, third-place Haiti will take on already eliminated El Salvador, followed by an encounter between first-place Jamaica and second-place Mexico.

Haiti has one point from two games and trails Mexico by one.  In order to advance, it will need to defeat El Salvador, hope Mexico loses to Jamaica and also ave goal difference fall in its favor.

A win against Jamaica will seal Mexico first place, while a draw will be good enough for advancement.  The Jamaicans will lock-up the group’s top spot with that result.

After a 1-1 draw against Haiti in the tournament opener on Wednesday, Mexico – which has never failed to advance past the Group Stage -- bounced back with a 7-0 win over the Salvadorans.  Janae Gonzalez struck for a hat-trick in a game that marked the Tricolor’s best offensive output in its tournament history.

Can Mexico maintain its semifinal streak?
