    TIGRES, PACHUCA PRODUCE A THRILLER
In a rematch of the 2016/17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League (SCCL) final, Tigres (2W-1D-1L, 6 points) got the better of visiting Pachuca (1-1-2, 4), 3-2, on Saturday night in the 2018 Liga MX Clausura. The goal haul doubled UANL's output for the season. Andre-Pierre Gignac sturck for the game-winner, snapping a 2-2 tie with an exquisite 84th-minute strike.

    RUIZ BRACE BOOSTS HEREDIANO
On Saturday, powered by a Yendrick Ruiz brace, Herediano (4-1-2, 13) posted a 2-0 win over Perez Zeledon (3-2-2, 11), avenging - at least somewhat - a setback to the Guerreros del Sur in the 2017 Costa Rican Apertura final. Ruiz opened the scoring in the 31' by coolly slotting home a penalty, before doubling the margin in the 77' with a fine left-footed finish.

    ALIANZA EXTENDS STREAK
First-place Alianza (4-0-0, 12) extended its unbeaten streak in Salvadoran league play to 31 games with a 2-0 win over host Aguila in the 2018 Clausura on Sunday. The Albos netted once in each half through El Salvador international Rodolfo Zelaya (40') and Gustavo Guerreno (59'). The Salvadoran record for the longest run without a loss is 33 matches, set by Luis Angel Firpo during the 1990-91 campaign.

HIRVING LOZANO ON THE MARK IN THE NETHERLANDS
Hirving Lozano's first season with PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie continues to be a success as he delivered all the points in a 1-0 win over FC Twente on Saturday. The 2016/17 SCCL Golden Boot winner wasted no time in finding the back of the net, striking for his 12th goal of the season in the third minute.
