CONCACAF President set to speak at the Leaders Sport Business Summit

FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF President, Victor Montagliani, will deliver a keynote address at the Leaders Sports Business Summit 2016 for an international audience of 1,800 CEOs and Directors from teams, leagues and federations from around the world. The event will be held from October 5th to October 6th, 2016 in London.

With a lifelong commitment to football, as a player and administrator Montagliani’s passion for the game has led him to become a natural leader within the sport. Montagliani was elected CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President, on May 12, 2016 in CONCACAF’s XXXI Ordinary Congress held in Mexico City, Mexico. He also serves as President of the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA).

Through his leadership at the CSA, he has brought efficiency and a corporate style to the Association. He chaired the National Organizing Committee for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™. Montagliani played a key role in Canada’s bid for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, its execution and completion.

President Montagliani, a member of the FIFA and CONCACAF Reform Committees, is set to keynote this year’s Leaders Sport Business Summit, while focusing world football’s attention on the North, Central American and Caribbean region. Focused on developing the four pillars outlined in his vision for the evolution of CONCACAF, he intends to further growth the Confederations’ key areas, including: Good governance, successful strategic planning for competitions and commercial partnership, investment in football development and infrastructure, and strong leadership.
