    CONCACAF at the FIFA World Cup: Qualified Teams

    With Honduras falling short in its bid to become CONCACAF’s fourth qualifier at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, dropping a 3-1 decision to host Australia on Wednesday in the second leg of their intercontinental playoff (agg: 1-3), the Confederation will officially send three teams to Russia: Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama.

    Founded in 1961 -- 31 years after the first World Cup – CONCACAF has seen 11 of its current Member Associations qualify across the 21 all-time editions (including Russia 2018), led by Mexico’s 16.
