    Change of venue for 2008 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualification

    CONCACAF announced a change of venue for 2008 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualification. The tournament will remain in state of Chihuahua in Mexico but will now take place at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juarez in Ciudad Juarez from 2-13 April.

    The six-team CONCACAF tournament, which will qualify two teams to the Women's Olympic Football Tournament Beijing 2008, was originally scheduled for the city of Chihuahua but was changed as a result of issues involving the stadium (Estadio Olímpico Universitario).

    The 2008 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualification will consist of the defending champion, USA along with North Zone representatives Canada and Mexico, Central American side Costa Rica, plus Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago from the Caribbean.

    The draw for the groups and fixtures to the 2008 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualification will be announced in due course.
