    CFCC: Glucosoral downs Sidekicks to seal berth in final

    GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala – Glucosoral fell behind within 41 seconds of the opening whistle, but bounced back quickly to defeat Sidekicks 8-2 on Saturday at the Domo Polideportivo and advance to the to the final of the inaugural CONCACAF Futsal Club Championship.

    The Guatemalans will face Costa Rica’s Borussia, which won the first semifinal, 8-1, over Habana earlier in the day.

    After Abdiel gave Sidekicks a 1-0 lead, Glucosoral struck for three unanswered goals and never looked back.

    Walter Enriquez leveled the score just after three minutes, while Billy Pineda and Edgar Santizo struck for a pair of goals each after Sidekicks’ Bogar Moreno made it 3-2.
