First-round play in the 2016/17 Scotiabank CFU Men’s Caribbean Cup concluded Tuesday with seven games across the region.

The top two teams from each of the seven groups clinched places in June’s second round, where they will be joined by St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

CONCACAF.com takes a look at the highlights from the fourth day of action in the Caribbean’s qualifying competition for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Group 1 … Harrison Panayiotou (38’) scored in a second straight game to lead St. Kitts & Nevis to a 1-0 win over visiting Antigua & Barbuda and a first-place finish.

Group 2 … Kimo Simpson netted the game-winning goal in the 90th minute as first-place Grenada earned a 2-1 win at the US Virgin Islands.

Group 3 … French Guiana bounced back from a loss at Bermuda with a 3-0 win over visiting Cuba, eliminating the 2012 champion, which had qualified for eight consecutive Gold Cups.

Group 4 … Darly Batista (50’, 57’) scored both goals as the host Dominican Republic defeated Barbados, 2-0.  The Barbadians, who beat Curacao (1-0) on March 23 were eliminated, while the Dominican Republic vaulted from last to first.

Group 5 … Guyana made it two wins in a row thanks to Solomon Austin’s 65th minute goal in a 1-0 win at Puerto Rico.

Group 6 … All the goals were scored in the first half, but it was Stefano Rijssel’s double that lifted host Suriname to a 3-2 win over Guadeloupe.

Group 7 … Martinique got goals from four different players in a 4-1 win at Dominica.
